AI Translator Terms of Service and Sale

Acceptance of these terms

By using AI Translator, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the extension and the translation service. Read the privacy policy to understand how information is processed when you request a translation.

Permitted use

Use AI Translator to translate text that you are entitled to submit and process. You are responsible for your use of the service, the content you submit, and respecting other people's privacy and intellectual property rights.

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to bypass usage limits or access controls, interfere with its operation, or access another person's account. Do not submit credentials or information that you are not authorized to share with the processing providers described in the privacy policy.

Google sign-in and account security

The translation service requires Google sign-in. You are responsible for protecting access to your Google account and for activity carried out through your signed-in session. Sign out on devices you share, and contact support if you believe your service account has been misused.

Use the same Google account in the extension and on the payment page. A subscription belongs to the purchasing account and is not transferred by signing in with another account. Check that your build can sign in and translate before subscribing.

Character allowance and request limits

Free costs $0 and includes 100,000 source characters per calendar month, resetting on the first day at 00:00 UTC, with up to 4,000 characters per request. Auto-detect and text or selection translation are included.

Pro costs $4.99 USD per month or $39.99 USD per year and includes 2,000,000 source characters per quota month, up to 50,000 characters per request, full-page translation, optional page context, formal/friendly/technical tone controls, and priority processing. Yearly payment is billed once per year; the character allowance renews monthly.

Pro quota months follow the original subscription anniversary in UTC. A missing anniversary day is clamped to that month’s last day: January 31 → February 28/29 → March 31. Unused monthly characters do not roll over. Input characters, including spaces and punctuation, are counted as Unicode code points; output, prompt instructions, and optional context are not billed as source characters.

Characters are reserved during processing, charged after success, and released for failed, cancelled, or expired jobs. Restoring the original does not refund a successful translation. No unused allowance carries over. Do not bypass quotas or create accounts to evade restrictions.

Subscription payment and automatic renewal

Pro is $4.99 USD per month or $39.99 USD per year. The annual plan is one annual charge, not monthly installments. Review the selected interval, final amount, renewal details, and any applicable taxes in Stripe Checkout before confirming payment.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Manage renewal and cancel in the billing portal. Cancelling renewal preserves access through the already paid period; uninstalling the extension, signing out, or stopping a translation does not cancel a subscription.

Changes to future prices are disclosed before they apply, subject to applicable law. Existing paid access is not shortened by a price change. Test checkout is separate from real payment and does not grant live Pro access.

Confirming paid access

Pro is activated only after the server verifies the paid subscription with Stripe. Returning to the success page or a client-side flag does not confirm payment. Your account shows the paid-through date and effective plan.

If paid access has not appeared, refresh account status and contact support with the receipt or subscription identifier. Do not pay again solely to resolve a delay. Failed or unconfirmed payments do not grant Pro.

Refund requests and payment disputes

For duplicate payments, missing paid access, technical problems, or other refund requests, email ihorkharchyshyn@gmail.com with the receipt or subscription identifier and a description. Never send full card details, passwords, or authentication tokens. Requests are reviewed using the payment, usage, circumstances, and applicable law; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Full refunds, unresolved disputes, or expiration can suspend the paid access associated with the affected payment. A valid paid period from another verified subscription is evaluated separately. Cancelling renewal is not itself a refund request.

Historical one-time purchases and their original terms remain recorded for accounting and support. New translations do not consume purchased word balances, and old balances are not automatically converted into subscription characters. Previously accepted jobs may finish or release their original reservations. Contact support about an affected earlier purchase.

AI translations can contain errors

Translations are generated by AI and may omit details, change meaning, or contain incorrect or inappropriate wording. Review the output before relying on it or sharing it. You remain responsible for decisions made using a translation.

Do not rely on AI Translator as the sole source for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions. Use a qualified human translator or an appropriate professional when accurate interpretation is essential.

Local history and optional context

History is stored only in this Chrome profile, with up to 20 entries on Free or 1,000 on Pro and a shared 25 MiB storage cap. Older entries may be removed to stay within either limit. It is not synchronized across devices.

You can delete individual entries or clear local history. History is isolated by account and billing environment. Signing out clears the authentication session but retains local history; deleting entries, clearing history, or uninstalling removes it. These actions do not cancel a Stripe subscription or delete server-side payment records. Optional context is sent to the translation providers when you choose that Pro feature; do not include confidential context you do not want processed.

Availability and changes to the service

AI Translator depends on Chrome features, network access, authentication, and external processing services. It may be unavailable or interrupted. Not all pages or content are supported, and translated text may affect a page's layout or behavior. If a persistent service problem prevents use of paid access, contact support about the affected purchase and available remedies under applicable law.

Access may be restricted when needed to address misuse, security issues, or technical limitations. You can stop using the service, sign out, and uninstall the extension at any time. Uninstalling or cancelling translation does not itself delete server-side data; the privacy policy explains retention and how to request deletion.

Content and intellectual property

These terms do not transfer ownership of your submitted content to the publisher. Requesting a translation authorizes the processing needed to provide it, including transmission to the service providers described in the privacy policy.

The extension's software, branding, and service materials remain subject to their applicable ownership and license terms. A translation does not give you rights to republish or use someone else's source material beyond the rights you already hold.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AI Translator is provided as available, without warranties that translations will be accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate translations, interruptions, unsupported pages, or reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Review them when using a new version of the service. Changes apply from their stated effective date, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using AI Translator.
